Upon visiting the Glitter Guide tumblr I stumbled across this photo, I have never heard of this designer before but I am smitten. The color palette is fantastic and the details are fresh. Lady like yet comfortable. Right up my ally.

This picture was taken a month ago when the weather began to shift and actually feel like fall. This is my day off gear and the most casual I like to dress. For some reason I have always enjoyed dressing up never comfortable in workout/sport gear. So I have been trying to add thick wool sweaters to my wardrobe like this one I bought at J. Crew, my favorite place, last winter. Cozy and warm without having to wear a jacket all the time.

Finely Fitted: A D.I.Y Photo Shoot

This is my first ever D.I.Y photo shoot. You see my husband does not come home till late in the day and because of day light savings (which I am so happy to have an extra hour of sleep) that hour is when it is dark out. Unfortunately I do not have my sister near by for photos everyday so that leaves me. This was my first time doing the self timer and I actually had fun demonstrating my silly side. So until I have help for photos there will be many D.I.Y photo shoots! 
P.S. I meant it when I said I really do love vests...

Finely Fitted: Audience

Recently while Nick and I were taking photos in our little town we were scouting out an area where I would not have an audience because I have realized, well not just realized, that I am camera shy when there is the potential for people ( I don't know) to see. After reading many blogs over the year I know that I am not the only person to feel self conscious while self photos are taken. Blogging has been a slow start for me because of this very reason, my husband thinks I am a little to self aware in this arena. Well we found a spot that I blended in at and when we were finished we had an audience.. however not the kind that asks questions. They were the town's rooster/chicken population (there's tons of them, people drop them off here because they can rome free) and they had surrounded us believing they were going to get food.  It was fun and we had a great laugh. Nick also attempted to capture this moment but the rooster's were too spread out.

This is me drinking coffee and coincidentally I am wearing coffee oriented colors. I enjoy coffee like most people out there and Peet's coffee happens to be a winner in my family. Traditionally I love to go to a independently owned shop however those are hard to find, a good shop, that is. 
This is one of my favorite little jackets that I could wear everyday it's feminine yet military like.  I had worked all day and needed a little pick me up for the night ahead! Dinner at the sister-in-laws. Whom I love!
P.S. We do not litter we picked those napkins right up.
